Hi there, welcome to my Blog! My name's Bre and I'm assuming you'd like to know a little about the person behind the web...

• Twenty-something young adult

I have a degree in Criminology from Benedictine College. I have worked in Corrections, Mental Health, and the Education system since graduating. I'm working toward going back to get my Masters and finally finding what I wanna do when I grow up!:)

• Wife to a very handsome southern man who happens to be a Soldier!

My Soldier, Husband, Best Friend, and other wise know as Joe is the best and most frustrating thing to ever happen to me.  We met during Army Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. I from Kansas and He from Alabama. I can remember calling him out while marching to the chow hall for lunch to call cadence because I loved his voice. I also remember thinking what a funny last name he had and how it reminded me of the Pigpen...well fast forward 3 years and I took that funny sounding last name; March 3rd 2012 in the most beautiful and fun filled wedding! We are very much alike yet so vastly different which makes for few dull moments.

•  Daughter to a retired Col. USAF! 

I was born in a military hospital and grew up on military bases and posts.  I never had a "home town" and couldn't tell any of my elementary teachers names.  I considered where ever my stuff and family was to be my home.  I wouldn't change how I was grew up I saw and experienced so much. Living in no place longer than 3 years allowed me to see alot of the United States. I am glad my parents are finally retired to Alabama now though.  I'm also very blessed to have them living close to my in-laws.  Alabama is very rapidly becoming "home" to me now.

•  Big Sister to a very young Sailor!

I'm one very proud big sister. My little brother who in reality is huge(6'3") is a brand new Sailor to the Navy.  He already has seen so much more of the world than I, which in a way makes me very jealous. Sailor Sam already has 2 deployments under his belt and is growing up way to fast for me!

• Younger Sister to a very talented and.. colorful Knitter!

My older sis is the polar opposite of me in every which way. But as we have grown our relationship has too.  She is a Pharmacy tech but her real talent in my opinion is knitting. She has made the most beautiful things! I'm hoping she will start selling her creations, and when she does you better believe they will be up on this blog!

• And can't forget my Main Lady: MAMA!

My Mama is my rock! I call her 3 to 4 times a day (Not exaggerating)  to ask about cooking, talk about shows, ask advice, tell her about my day, complain, and other times for no other reason than just because I can. I wouldn't be where I am today with out her.

• Mama to an energetic pup.(I'm obsessed with our Puppy and am always snapping pictures of his crazy and lazy ways! )

        My life plan seems to be ever changing, still working on letting go and letting God grab the wheel. Not completely sure what my faith denomination is just yet (still searching), but I know I'm a Christian who believes very firmly that Christ died for my sins, loves me more than I can fathom, and has a plan for me!

This blog is just a simple way for me to share life stories, insights, questions, recipes, frustrations, and much more!

**I'll warn you now I'm no writer and am notorious for spelling and grammar errors.  I will always do my best to catch them, but if you're one of those grammar nazi's this blog will probably drive you insane.
